This graph shows that out of 775 million people in this
world that are illiterate, two thirds of them are woman. This is where people
need to stand up for the rights of women need to be pushed . Everyone in the
world should have the chance to receive an education.

After examining Mary Wollstonecraft's advocacy for women in education, this graph depicts what she wanted to avoid! There needs to be more influential people for the rights of education for all, so the gap between men and women can be erased for good.
ReplyDeleteIt is almost appalling that many children DO have access to at least a basic education, but have to give it up because of the world around them. It is difficult to know how to fix this, because many children in Sub-Saharan Africa as well as South and West Asia need to leave school at a very early age to assist their family's business; whether it be a farm or something else. The only way I could see it changing is if there were more locally accessible primary schools, or if children were forced to go by law.
